Mountain Bike
Mountain biking is the latest invitation for visitors to Lake Plastira. The well-organized Tavropos Mountain Bike Center, located in Kalyvia near the lake, offers everything enthusiasts need to enjoy endless trails of varying difficulty. Whether along the lakeside roads, through the forest, or up the mountain, riders can explore approximately 35 km of diverse and exciting routes.
Anyone familiar with cycling and in good physical shape can join (ages 10 to 65). All you need are comfortable clothes, a small backpack with a water bottle, a windbreaker jacket, gloves, and a cap. After a brief briefing about the route, we set off. Along the way, we take breaks to enjoy the scenery, capture photos, and even have a picnic.
Climbing
Just outside Mouzaki, on the road to Porti, you’ll find well-established climbing areas featuring 10 sport routes. The high-quality rock formations attract many enthusiasts each year, with organized climbing activities regularly taking place in the area.
Visitors can enjoy nature and its beauties through the routes.

The Tholos Tomb is located approximately 500 meters east of the village of Agioi Theodoroi.
Archaeological sites of the Municipality of Mouzaki
These are prehistoric Neolithic settlements known as "Magoula Giatrou" and "Magoula Kefalovryso."
The Temple of Apollo of the ancient Metropolis
Nestled in the area of "Lianokokkala" in Moschato, within the Plastiras municipality, the Temple of Apollo stands approximately 2 kilometers west of the ancient city of Metropolis — a remarkable site that echoes the grandeur of antiquity.

A prime destination for hiking is the Belokomitis Educational Forest, where six specially marked trails showcase the area's stunning natural landscapes. Covering an area of 5,688 acres, the Educational Forest offers trails with the following features:
